About us

Ngoho News’ vision is to augment the empowerment of previously disadvantaged communities through development communication. The newspaper’s mission is to provide an interaction platform for the community, government, civil society and business sectors.

Ngoho strives to bridge the communication gap among the economic, social and political spheres of society. Ngoho primarily targets African (black) community who are able to read the Tshivenda or English languages in Vhembe District Municipality.

Situated about 100 km to the north of Polokwane - the capital city of Limpopo Province - Vhembe District consist of four local municipalities namely; Thulamela, Musina, Makhado and Collins Chabane. There are about nine towns in Vhembe District namely; Musina, Thohoyandou, Louis Trichardt, Malamulele, Dzanani, Tshilamba, Vuwani, Sibasa and Elim. Vhembe District Municipality’s headquarters are at Thohoyandou town in Thulamela Municipality.
