VHEMBE DISTRICT MARULA BUILD-UP FESTIVAL

Vhembe District Municipality, in partnership with the Department of Sports, Arts and Culture, hosted Marula build-up festival on the Friday, 08th March 2024 at Bungeni Heritage Site under Collins Chabane Local Municipality. 

The festival is organized under the theme “Tourism and Peace.” The program will start at 09h00 in the morning.

The purpose of the festival, amongst others, is to restore local traditions and values  while promoting social cohesion and domestic tourism as well as creating local  culture images.

Structures such as Traditional leaders, Traditional healers, Contralesa, Vhembe District Regional Tourism Organization,  Limpopo  Economic Development and  Tourism,  Limpopo  Tourism  Agency, Vhembe Biosphere Reserve, Small Enterprise Development Agency, National Youth Development  Agency,  Media houses, SANCO, Institutions of Higher Learning, CBO’s, Labour unions, NGO’s, Structures falling under Special programmers,  Various community members are invited to the festival.
